Welfare versus Well-being

Through the ages, our welfare increased significantly, but are we also happier? People still suffer from stress. Stephen Covey learned us that a person is four dimensional; body, mind, heart and spirit, He calls that the whole person paradigm. To date, we have access to so many material stuff, that is important but it concerns only one dimension. The spirit means that we want to contribute. Therefore, creating a better welfare can be more exciting than having it. Furthermore, the eagerness to discover new things is one of our natural drives, this is the dimension of the mind. Since we are emotional beings we need to interact with others. We want to let our heart speak. This explain why personalization is such a hot topic for personal devices and websites.
